ITIJ Awards: winners revealed!
The 2023 ITIJ Awards were held in the W Barcelona, Spain, on 9 November, celebrating the achievements of the travel and health insurance industry
The ITIJ Awards held annually to recognise excellence in the travel insurance, international health insurance, medical assistance, air ambulance and international healthcare sectors. They take place each year the conclusion of the ITIC Global event, and symbolise the greatest achievements companies operating in the industry have made over the course of the last 12 months.
Whether it is a new travel insurance product, or investment in training, sustainability, technology or services, companies across the spectrum of the travel insurance ecosystem are welcome to submit their application to become an ITIJ Award winner. A panel of independent judges (three in each category) score the submissions and the winner is the company with the highest score.
Ian Cameron, ITIJ Editor in Chief and ITIC Chairman, commented on the 2023 Awards: “We’ve had more submissions this year than ever before, and the judges were keen for us to relay their appreciation for all the effort that so clearly went into applications we received. Our industry is fantastic – it’s innovative, it’s resilient, and it’s incredibly important, supporting travellers in their hour of need no matter where they are in the world.
