ITIJ attends BIBA 2024
Mandy Langfield, Publishing Director, and Michelle Royle, Managing Editor, from the International Travel and Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ) are attending the BIBA Conference in Manchester this week (15–16 May)
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is the UK’s leading general insurance intermediary organisation, representing the interests of insurance brokers, intermediaries and their customers.
The UK’s largest insurance broking event, the BIBA Conference brings together over 9,000 attendees, 220 exhibitors and 50 speakers. Astronaut Tim Peake, BBC Europe Editor Katya Adler, journalist Robert Peston, BBC broadcaster Clive Myrie, and TV presenter Kate Garraway will all be speaking at the event.
It’s been a busy few months for the ITIJ team, travelling to attend ITIC Americas, ITIC MEA and ITIC UK – with the UK event taking place just last week. Mandy Langfield said: “It’s always a pleasure attending BIBA, and other industry events as well. As event organisers, it makes a nice change to go to someone else’s conference and just be an attendee, soaking up the atmosphere and spending time meeting the exhibitors!”
She added: “The conference sessions at BIBA are always really interesting to listen to and offer a great forum for learning more about the role brokers play in customer education, engagement and satisfaction.”
Michelle Royle added: “I’m really looking forward to building the broker audience for ITIJ, meeting new people and ensuring they know that the industry’s leading magazine is ready and waiting for their insights and expertise.”
