Allianz Partners appoints new CEO of Travel
The company has announced Anna Kofoed as its new CEO for Travel and member of the Allianz Partners’ Board of Management
Allianz stated that Kofoed brings ’25 years of experience in the travel technology industry’ to the role, alongside ‘extensive expertise and insight into the business, particularly in the areas of digital services and innovation’.
Kofoed joins the company from Amadeus, where she served as Executive Vice President for Travel Sellers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She also holds an International MBA from Copenhagen Business School, and recently graduated from Harvard University’s Advanced Management Programme.
Kofoed succeeds Damien Ladous in the role. Ladous has overseen the Travel line of business since 2021, as well as serving as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since the start of 2023. With the transfer of the Travel CEO role to Kofoed, Ladous will now focus on his work as Group CFO, but will remain a member of the Board of Management.
“I’m thrilled to be taking on this challenge at an organisation that is at the forefront of innovation in the travel industry,” said Anna Kofoed, CEO for Travel at Allianz Partners. “Digital platforms will play an incredibly important role in the sector over the coming years, and Allianz Partners is well-positioned to lead from the front.”
Allianz Partners UK and Ireland also announced a new CEO in May 2023.
