Southern Cross welcomes new Chief Communications & Brand Officer
Reid commenced his role earlier this month
Southern Cross has welcomed Tony Reid as Chief Communications & Brand Officer. Reid, who started in the role earlier this month, will lead the growth of Southern Cross’ reputation and market presence – working across the range of health and insurance brands.
Reid has held senior corporate affairs and government relations roles at Kiwibank, Suncorp New Zealand and the FMA. He started his career in broadcast journalism and worked for RNZ, the BBC, TVNZ, and TV3.
“I’m excited to be joining such a strong New Zealand brand and look forward to the role I can play in further building Southern Cross’ reputation as a for-purpose group of businesses and showcasing the positive impact we are having for Aotearoa New Zealand.
