Saga Insurance joins GAIN
The over-50s insurer is showing its commitment to its neurodivergent employees by joining the group
The Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment and Neurodiversity (GAIN) has welcomed Saga plc, the UK’s specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50, to its ranks.
By joining GAIN, Saga is pledging to engage and enable neurodivergent individuals to thrive in the workplace.
Also, with the upcoming launch of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Consumer Duty at the end of July, the insurer is committed to creating an inclusive culture and environment for all its employees.
Johnny Timpson, Supervisory Board Member of GAIN, said: “GAIN welcomes the new Consumer Duty and the opportunity it presents to work and collaborate with Saga in raising awareness of the benefits of neuro-inclusion and cognitive diversity plus better understanding the needs of and improving the value, services, and support available to Saga’s neurodivergent employees.”
April Clark, People Director for Saga Insurance, added: “At Saga, our goal for every colleague is that they can be their best, be themselves and make a difference. To achieve this, we must create a culture where everyone feels they belong. Joining GAIN will enable us to share our experiences and learn what more we can do to improve, through working together as part of a powerful network of knowledgeable and influential allies.”
