Developer portal launched for Chubb Studio
Property and casualty insurer Chubb has announced a new developer portal for its Chubb Studio embedded insurance solution
The company stated that the aim of the new developer portal is to ‘make it easier for B2B2C partner customers to access and test [Chubb Studio’s] digital insurance products and capabilities’.
The portal will allow developers to use an ‘extensive portfolio of digital insurance application program interfaces (API), mobile software development kits (SDK), and microsites’, allowing them to ‘build new digital insurance campaigns and test their applications against a partner’s live APIs’.
Additionally, the new portal offers an ‘intuitive’ partner onboarding experience, with access to a range of dashboards and other tools.
“This significant enhancement to Chubb Studio is the result of feedback from the technical teams of Chubb’s B2B2C partners around the world,” said Sean Ringsted, Chief Digital Business Officer at Chubb. “As we continue to scale our global network of partners, we recognise the critical overlap between the customer experience and the partner experience – the success of the alliance depends on both.”
Chubb Studio is an insurtech solution that allows Chubb partners to embed insurance propositions, products, services, and claims experiences alongside their core products and services. It is used in a range of insurance sectors, including travel.
Chubb in Korea recently announced a partnership to offer insurance via the Korean Air website.
